Hello World - Announcing camData

Hello there,

We are very excited to annouce the establishment of camData, The Cambridge Data Science Society. While applications with the relevant organisations and authorities are still in play, we aim to be up and running for the 2026 Michaelmas Term.

camData is founded on the premise that there is no home for students working with (or looking to work with) data in Cambridge. With data becoming more and more ubiquitous, be it in engineering, medicine or the social sciences, camData will be a place where disciplinary boundaries dissolve, and a network for data science to emerge.
